Trudi has been involved at Dana-Farber since 1999, when she became a patient. Since that time, she has served on the Patient and Family Advisory Council for 6 years and really enjoyed that opportunity. She was also involved in three Fashion Shows for Breast Cancer and several events working with Dr. Benz. She volunteers every Wednesday on Yawkey floors 7 and 8 talking with patients and families, which she considers her true passion.
Trudy has raised 1 million dollars for Dana-Farber through her Walk Team, called the Tree of Life. She is a professional event planner, and hosted and planned two kick-off parties for the Pan-Mass Challenge’s Team Flames.
She teaches Psychology at Mass College of Pharmacy, and many of her students are volunteers at Dana-Farber, as well.
