Krietta Bowens Jones is a Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly In-House Leader for 2023

Krietta Bowens Jones has been selected as one of the 2023 In House Leaders in the Law by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly.  In-House Leaders are general counsel and staff attorneys who are nominated by their colleagues, clients and other legal professionals for being leaders in the in-house community and forward thinkers.

Bowens Jones is currently senior counsel at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where she advises on corporate, regulatory and risk management matters. She also counsels on patient care matters and privacy and data security, including HIPAA and state medical privacy laws.

Bowens Jones is currently a Boston Bar Foundation (BBF) Trustee and a member of the BBF Grants Committee.  She previously served on the Boston Bar Association (BBA) Council, as Co-Chair of the BBA’s Delivery of Legal Services Section and as a member of the Privacy, Cybersecurity and Digital Law Section’s Steering Committee.

Bowens Jones is also a member of the Women’s Bar Association, the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association, Massachusetts Black Women Attorneys and the American Health Lawyers Association, and she serves as a Commissioner of the Massachusetts Access to Justice Commission.

She is a graduate of Brown University and Boston University School of Law.

Bowens Jones will be honored with the other Lawyers Weekly winners at a gala celebration on March 23 at Boston Marriott Cambridge.
