Since 1947, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute has been providing expert cancer care and groundbreaking treatments for adult and pediatric patients. U.S. News and World Report consistently ranks Dana-Farber as the #1 cancer hospital in New England, and among the best in the nation. As a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital, we recruit some of the world’s best and brightest physicians and researchers. And we partner with two of the world’s highest ranked hospitals – Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital – to provide complete and integrated care for our adult patients and pediatric patients.
Cancer Care and Treatment for Adults
Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center combines the focus of a leading cancer center and the resources of a major hospital to provide comprehensive care for adults with cancer. Outpatient care takes place at various locations around Dana-Farber's Longwood campus, and inpatient care takes place either at Brigham and Women's Hospital or at Dana-Farber's Inpatient Hospital located within Brigham and Women's Hospital. These buildings are connected by bridges.
Cancer Care and Treatment for Children
While no two families whose lives are touched by childhood cancer or blood disease are the same, every parent wants the very best care for his or her child. Dana-Farber/Boston Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Center, an integrated pediatric oncology program through Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Boston Children's Hospital, provides — in one specialized program — all the services of both a leading cancer center and a pediatric hospital. Our focus is solely on the diagnosis and treatment of children with cancer, and providing care for young cancer survivors.
