Cancer Care and Treatment

Since 1947, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute has been providing expert cancer care and groundbreaking treatments for adult and pediatric patients. U.S. News and World Report consistently ranks Dana-Farber as the #1 cancer hospital in New England, and among the best in the nation. Cancer Care and Treatment for Adults

Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center combines the focus of a leading cancer center and the resources of a major hospital to provide comprehensive care for adults with cancer. Outpatient care takes place at various locations around Dana-Farber's Longwood campus, and inpatient care takes place either at Brigham and Women's Hospital or at Dana-Farber's Inpatient Hospital located within Brigham and Women's Hospital. These buildings are connected by bridges.

How patients and families built the Yawkey Center for Cancer Care

Our patients and families were involved in many important decisions about the creation of the Yawkey Center for Cancer Care. Their knowledge meant they had invaluable insight into the experience of going through cancer treatment. Here, some of our patients and caregivers explain how they helped create a warm, healing environment for people with cancer.

Cancer Care and Treatment for Children

While no two families whose lives are touched by childhood cancer or blood disease are the same, every parent wants the very best care for his or her child. Dana-Farber/Boston Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Center, an integrated pediatric oncology program through Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Boston Children's Hospital, provides — in one specialized program — all the services of both a leading cancer center and a pediatric hospital. Our focus is solely on the diagnosis and treatment of children with cancer, and providing care for young cancer survivors.

Pioneers, Leaders, Visionaries

A relentless pursuit of discovery, improved outcomes, and comprehensive care for young patients makes Dana-Farber/Boston Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Center a top pediatric cancer center in the United States. Dana-Farber/Boston Children's has been ranked the #1 pediatric cancer hospital by U.S. News & World Report more often than any other program.
