Biography
Douglas E. Brandoff, MD, FAAHPM
Dr. Brandoff received a classical music performance diploma from The Juilliard School and subsequently graduated with honors in music from Williams College. He currently serves as Co-Director for Midday Melodies: A Dana-Farber Concert Series, an initiative that brings the healing and therapeutic power of music to patients and staff.
As an oncology-trained palliative care specialist, he promotes collaborative patient-centered care in the ambulatory setting. His additional roles include teaching as a faculty educator within the Harvard Interprofessional Palliative Care Fellowship Program, and serving as Physician Leader for Schwartz Rounds at Dana-Farber. He served as the inaugural Director of Opioid Safety and Compliance from 2016-2019.
