Laura S. Dominici, MD, FACS

Dr. Laura Stewart Dominici is a breast surgeon at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and associate professor of surgery at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Dominici received her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine.  She then completed a general surgery residency at Lahey Clinic Medical Center (now Lahey Hospital and Medical Center) and a breast surgical oncology fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.  She is board-certified in general surgery.

Dr. Dominici's clinical interests include patient-reported outcomes, nipple-sparing mastectomy, breast conservation surgery, aesthetic flat closure, mastectomy with immediate reconstruction, neoadjuvant therapy and sentinel lymph node biopsy.  The author of over 50 peer-reviewed publications, she actively researches both systemic and local therapy treatments of breast cancer with a specific focus on patient-reported outcomes.
