Roxanne Sholevar, MD

Roxanne Sholevar, MD is a consultation-liaison psychiatrist with clinical and research interests in psychedelic-assisted therapies (PAT) for patients with serious illness, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and medical education. She is an attending psychiatrist at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute where she sees adult patients in the ambulatory setting and is the psychiatric liaison to the inpatient palliative care unit. She serves as a co-investigator and study psychiatrist in psilocybin-assisted therapy clinical trials at DFCI and has developed educational and clinical programming for clinicians around PAT. She is a candidate in adult psychoanalysis at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute and maintains a private practice where she sees adult patients.
