Dr. Pirl received his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, his M.D. from Harvard Medical School, and completed psychiatry training at Massachusetts General Hospital. He was a psycho-oncology fellow at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and later earned a MPH at Harvard School of Public Health.
