The Harvard Center for Palliative Care is devoted to training leaders in academic palliative medicine. This one-year program offers a diverse range of clinical experience through rotations at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston Children's Hospital, and Partners Hospice. The program is fully accredited by the ACGME and the American Board of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
Fellows spend their first inpatient consult month at Massachusetts General Hospital or Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and then rotate throughout the year for a total of four months at each site.
The pediatric fellowship is based at Boston Children’s Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
