Teatime with SHE: A Webinar Series

"Teatime with SHE" is a series of webinars featuring guests who explore the intersections of health with topics like law, international politics, and entertainment. These discussions attract diverse attendees from both within and outside the Dana-Farber and Harvard Medical School communities. The format encourages audience participation through live Q&A and real-time feedback, fostering open dialogue and connection between guests' insights, the SHE Center's mission, and attendees' perspectives.

From Scars to Stories: Redefining Survival

June 17, 2025 – In this intimate dialogue between two women living with Stage IV cancer—Idalina Colburn, an oncology nurse and breast cancer survivor, and Dr. Navid Madani, an on-going survivor of Stage IV ovarian cancer—we explore what it means to live, work, and thrive in the aftermath of life-altering diagnoses.

SHE Walks

September 2023 – The first SHE Walks in Amman, Jordan

The SHE Center launched "SHE Walks," an annual event inspired by the Jimmy Fund Walk, to raise funds for the SHE Center, increase cancer awareness, and unite people in solidarity with cancer patients.

In 2023, the first international SHE Walks event took place in Amman, Jordan, in collaboration with the Jordan Breast Cancer Program (JBCP) and the Jimmy Fund. This event was the first of many, as we plan to collaborate with local partners in different MENA countries. Our goal is to raise awareness about the impact of cancer, foster dialogue, and reduce the cancer burden by fundraising for early detection and diagnosis in the MENA region.
