The Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center Kidney Cancer team is composed of leaders in the field who are committed to providing you with the highest level of patient care. Our multidisciplinary team of medical oncologists, urologists, radiologists, nurses, pharmacists, pathologists, and clinical research coordinators has many years of experience in the management of kidney cancer, employing the most innovative treatment options available in the world. For kidney cancer alone, our team cares for hundreds of new patients per year, and has thousands of patients who had follow-up since 2000.

The Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center Kidney Cancer Team is at the forefront of kidney cancer research, and is one of the world's leading groups researching and publishing in kidney cancer. Our research includes testing new drugs where approved drugs have failed, tackling rare subtypes of kidney cancer, genome sequencing, as well as developing a strong interface between basic scientists and epidemiologists. Clinical trials with targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and other modalities are used for high-risk and advanced-stage patients. We also use minimally-invasive and robotic procedures as well as ablation procedures for some of our patients.
