Dr. Christopher Lathan grew up in Springfield, MA. While in college at the University of Massachusetts/Amherst, Dr. Lathan quickly realized he didn't want to be a PhD scientist. He transitioned to medicine at Tufts Medical School, and has been focused ever since on social justice, historically marginalized communities, and health equity. Dr. Lathan's clinical specialty is lung cancer treatment and screening.

Ludmila Svoboda, RN, BSN, MA, OCN

Nurse Director, Cancer Care Equity Program

Ludmila Svoboda has many years of experience in the field of oncology nursing. She is passionate about bringing access to oncology care to historically underserved communities, and has been working with the Cancer Care Equity program since its inception. Ludmila educates patients and helps them navigate the complex health care system.
