Center for Community-Based Research (CCBR)
The Center for Community-Based Research (CCBR) is part of the McGraw/Patterson Center for Population Sciences, a research group within Dana-Farber's Department of Medical Oncology.
CCBR is unique among the Institute's programs because it engages community groups and organizations in research on the factors that play a role in the prevention, early detection, and treatment of cancer.
CCBR faculty and staff also develop and disseminate effective interventions to prevent cancer and promote health, including interventions that target change in work organization and environment. CCBR's research encompasses partnerships with local communities, worksites, and international initiatives.
