    Robert and Renée Belfer Office for Dana-Farber Innovations (BODFI/the Innovation Office)

    The Innovation Office facilitates the transfer of research innovations from our laboratories to the clinic and to patients through the timely commercialization of new discoveries, and by serving as a bridge between research and industry. The Innovation Office works closely with Dana-Farber investigators, to create innovations through collaborations and productive relationships with industry.

    Office of Research Integrity and Compliance

    Dana-Farber's Office of Research Integrity and Compliance (ORIC) provides education, guidance, and administrative support to faculty and institutional leadership to prevent, mitigate, and/or manage institutional conflict of interest (ICOI). An ICOI arises when a financial interest of an institution or an institutional official, acting within his or her authority, could impact the design, conduct, or reporting of research carried out under the auspices of the institution. Dana-Farber is committed to ensuring that its research and clinical activities are conducted with integrity and without bias. As part of this commitment, Dana-Farber makes every effort to disclose the existence of institutional conflicts of interest to research participants.

    Innovations

    In partnership with the Innovation Office, Dana-Farber makes publicly available a list of FDA-approved therapeutics and diagnostics in which the Institute has a financial interest.

    Institutional financial interests in pre-approved technologies are disclosed to research participants on an as-needed basis in connection with specific studies.
