The Zakim Center remains committed to providing a supportive community for Dana-Farber patients and caregivers through virtual and in-person wellness programming.
Virtual Programs
We host virtual programs on MyZakim, a platform which allows participants and instructors the opportunity to meet face-to-face over Zoom (if you so choose, or you may leave your camera off) and also includes on-demand content. Follows these steps to get started:
- Visit myzakim.dana-farber.org/sign-up to sign up as a patient or caregiver.* Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox browsers are highly recommended.
- Please sign up just once and allow up to one business day for us to verify and activate your account. Once activated, you will receive an email from notification@dana-farber.org asking you to set up your password.
- Log into MyZakim and read through the instructions under "Getting Started." Browse through the site and sign up for classes you are interested in. (Note that you will not be able to view the full Class Schedule until your account has been activated and you are logged in.)
You can also view recorded group programs on our Digital Library on MyZakim, or on our YouTube master playlist.
Please contact us at zakim_center@dfci.harvard.edu if you have any questions or concerns. We look forward to seeing you on MyZakim soon!
*Dana-Farber staff interested in signing up should contact the Zakim Center directly.
Hybrid Exercise Class Schedule
We are now offering "hybrid" exercise classes! Virtual classes continue to be offered on MyZakim, and in-person classes are offered at our Mind Body Studio on Dana-Farber's Longwood campus. For a complete class schedule and studio policies, visit MyZakim. Please note that in-person classes are only available for Dana-Farber patients and their caregivers.
Registration is requested through MyZakim. Participants must have a MyZakim account and be logged in to register.
