Adult Leukemia Program

The Adult Leukemia Program is part of the Hematologic Oncology (Blood Cancers) Treatment Center. Our specialists are highly experienced in treating patients with acute and chronic leukemia, myeloproliferative disorders and myelodysplastic syndromes.

We provide care for patients with leukemia, such as acute myeloid leukemia (AML), acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML), and related bone marrow disorders, including myelodysplasia and myelofibrosis. Our program is one of the most experienced in the nation, with a high volume of consultations, patients cared for, and clinical trials offered. Through our program of clinical research, we apply our ongoing understanding of leukemia to developing therapies that will benefit patients today and in the future.

Dr. Luskin on Leukemia Treatment at Dana-Farber

Marlise Luskin, MD, MSCE, is a physician in Dana-Farber’s Adult Leukemia program. She treats patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), acute myeloid leukemia (AML), myelodysplastic syndrome, and a number of other blood cancers. Luskin discusses her approach to a patient’s first visit, and helping patients understand their disease and treatment options.
