About Your Visit
We want to make sure your travel and stay are as stress-free and comfortable as possible. When you arrive for your in-person appointment, you'll receive our International Patient Guide, a handbook with helpful information about our facility and an overview of our services, including:
Transportation
Our concierge can help arrange ground transportation throughout your visit, including to and from the airport. Call 001-857-215-3324, option 2.
Lodging
Our concierge can work with you to find a lodging solution to fit your needs, including options for long-term stays. Learn more about our patient lodging services.
Interpreter Services
If you speak a language other than English, language assistance services are available to you free of charge. Call 001-617-632-3673. Our Interpreter Ambassadors are trained and certified professionals who speak your language and share your culture. They will facilitate interactions prior to your in-person visit, and will accompany you to appointments, act as a guide during your stay, and coordinate with your patient liaison.
Spiritual Care
Our multifaith chaplains of the Center for Spiritual Care are available to provide spiritual and emotional support of our adult and pediatric patients, and their loved ones. The Dana-Farber Chapel is always open as a place of quiet reflection, prayer, or meditation for patients and their families. Prayer rugs and devotional resources are available. The Chapel is located in the Yawkey Center building, to the right just off the elevators on the 2nd floor. An adjacent consult space is also available to meet privately with a chaplain.
Patients may request to speak with a multifaith chaplain through Patient Gateway, through a member of their care team, or by calling 001-617-632-5778. Multifaith chaplains offer visits on-site, phone or video chat.
Wellness and Integrative Medicine
The Leonard P. Zakim Center for Integrative Therapies and Healthy Living offers individual therapies such as acupuncture and massage, and healthy living programs such as exercise and nutrition counseling. This integrative approach can help patients feel better by reducing the pain, stress, and anxiety caused by cancer and its treatment.
