Meet Our Nutritionists

Dana-Farber has one of the largest outpatient Oncology Nutrition departments in the United States. Our team is made up of a diverse set of professionals, each with a specialized area of expertise. We have experience and training in oncology and are here to help you manage your nutrition during and beyond your cancer treatment.

Kathy McManus, MS, RD, LDN

Director of Nutrition Department

Kathy is well known in the nutrition and medical community as an author and lecturer in Boston, Massachusetts, across the U.S., and internationally. Kathy has also published numerous research articles on nutrition and health. Kathy supports Dana-Farber's Nutrition team but does not see patients in the clinic.

Julie Bosworth, RD, LDN

Dana-Farber Yawkey Center/Longwood Medical Area

Julie has been a senior oncology dietitian/nutritionist since 2010. She attended Cornell University and completed the Brigham and Women’s Hospital internship program before pursuing a variety of clinical nutrition roles in transplant, renal, dialysis, nutrition support, and the medical and surgical intensive care units. Julie most enjoys oncology care and working with patients who have gastrointestinal challenges.

Christina Conte, RD, LDN

Leonard P. Zakim Center for Integrative Therapies and Healthy Living

Christina began her career at Dana-Farber promoting healthy lifestyle change on the Breast Cancer Weight Loss (BWEL) Study. As the nutrition coordinator for the Zakim Center, Christina provides healthy living programming, which includes the virtual nutrition course, "13 Weeks to Wellness," a monthly educational webinar series, "Ask the Nutritionist," and a monthly cooking demonstration, "What’s Cookin’ with Zakim." Additionally, she oversees educational content development about nutrition on the MyZakim website to further support patients.

Hannah Dalpiaz, RD, LDN

Dana-Farber Yawkey Center/Longwood Medical Area

Hannah is a senior oncology dietitian/nutritionist. Hannah is interested in providing comprehensive nutrition care for cancer prevention, treatment, and survivorship, as well as overall health and wellness. She enjoys creating individualized nutrition care plans for patients throughout their treatment course, particularly those requiring specialized nutrition support therapy, such as TF and/or TPN (IV nutrition).

Lauren Daniels MS, RD, LDN, CNSC

Lauren earned her BS and MS degrees in nutritional science at Boston University. She is a senior oncology dietitian/nutritionist and a board-certified nutrition support clinician. Lauren has extensive critical care experience and a deep understanding of the complexities in oncology care. She is passionate about finding personalized solutions to help patients meet their nutrition demands during treatment and feel their best every step along the way.

Christina DiSegna, MS, RD, CSO, CNSC, LDN

Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center at Milford Regional Medical Center

Christina is a senior oncology dietitian/nutritionist, a board-certified oncology specialist, and a board-certified nutrition support clinician. She is interested in providing comprehensive nutrition care for cancer prevention, treatment, and survivorship, as well as overall health and wellness. She enjoys creating individualized nutrition care plans for patients throughout their treatment course, particularly those requiring specialized nutrition support therapy.

Dana Fryer, MS, RD, CNSC, LDN

Dana-Farber Cancer Center Institute at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center

Dana received her MS in dietetics and clinical nutrition sciences from Boston University and completed her dietetic internship at Boston Medical Center. Prior to working at Dana-Farber, Dana worked as an inpatient dietitian at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, primarily covering oncology floors. Dana is a senior oncology dietitian/nutritionist and a certified nutrition support clinician.

Lisa Gibbs, MS, RD, LDN, CSO

Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center at Milford Regional Medical Center

Lisa has worked for almost 30 years in medical nutrition therapy in both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings. For the past ten years, she has specialized in oncology nutrition. Lisa is a senior oncology dietitian/nutritionist and a board-certified specialist in oncology nutrition. She has both undergraduate and master’s degrees from Framingham State University. Lisa is passionate about practicing evidence-based nutrition with a compassionate approach throughout each phase of cancer: prevention, treatment, and survivorship.

Annette M. Goldberg, MBA, DipACLM, MS, RD, LDN

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute - Chestnut Hill

Annette is a senior oncology dietitian/nutritionist at Dana-Farber and a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She graduated from Boston University with a Master of Science in nutrition. As a cancer survivor herself, Annette brings an empathetic and practical approach to helping patients successfully manage their treatment plans as well as coaching them through the changes required for healthy survivorship. Her areas of interest include gastrointestinal and head and neck cancers.

Elizabeth (Liz) Prentice, MS, RD, LDN

Dana-Farber Yawkey Center/Longwood Medical Area

Liz is a senior oncology dietitian/nutritionist. She received her MS in clinical nutrition from New York University and completed her training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She has a variety of professional interests including oncology, nutrition support, diabetes, and pediatrics. Liz also has a unique background working in the nonprofit sector as an elementary school garden educator. In addition to her work as an oncology dietitian, she also assists with pediatric nutrition research at the Harvard School of Public Health.

Isabelita (Izzy) Rosati, MS, MPH, RD, LDN

Isabelita "Izzy" Rosati is a senior oncology dietitian/nutritionist at Dana-Farber. She has a range of experience, with her main interests in oncology and geriatrics. Izzy enjoys providing tailored medical nutrition therapy and support to patients throughout their treatment and survivorship. She received her master’s degrees from Tufts University and completed her training at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Outside of Dana-Farber, Izzy enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Kelly Smallcomb, MS, RD, LDN

Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center at South Shore Health

Kelly Smallcomb is a senior oncology dietitian/nutritionist. She joined the team at Dana-Farber's South Shore Health location in 2020. Kelly has a range of experience including pediatrics, endocrinology, geriatrics, research, and cardiology, and has been providing care for oncology patients since 2006. Outside of work, Kelly enjoys traveling, running, tennis, and spending time with her family.

Colleen Timmons, MS, RD, LDN

Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center at South Shore Health

Colleen is a senior oncology dietitian/nutritionist at Dana-Farber. She graduated from Boston University with a Master of Science degree in nutrition and has over two decades of experience in both inpatient and outpatient oncology nutrition. Colleen is interested in helping patients optimize their nutritional status during treatment and into survivorship. She also focuses on alleviating potential symptoms to promote comfort and quality of life. Outside of Dana-Farber, Colleen enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Marla Tryder RD, LDN

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute - Merrimack Valley

Marla is a senior oncology dietitian/nutritionist. She enjoys providing individualized nutrition plans to patients for cancer prevention, during cancer treatment, and in survivorship. Her areas of interest include head and neck cancers, gastrointestinal cancers, and hematologic disorders.

April is a senior oncology dietitian/nutritionist and a board-certified nutrition support clinician with ten years of experience in oncology nutrition. Additionally, April has been an adjunct lecturer for undergraduate and graduate nutrition courses at Boston University, Northeastern University, and Lasell University. Her areas of interest include enteral and parenteral nutrition (tube feedings/intravenous nutrition) and nutrition counseling for patients with solid organ tumors.

Margaret (Meg) Wilkes, RD, LDN

Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center - Foxborough

Meg is a senior oncology dietitian/nutritionist currently practicing at Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center - Foxborough. She has also worked at Dana-Farber's Milford and Brighton locations. She displays a strong interest in the field of oncology nutrition and possesses over 20 years of experience in this specialty. Meg is devoted to supporting patients nutritionally through all the stages and varieties of cancer treatment and their challenges.

Hillary Wright, MEd, RD, LDN

Dana-Farber Yawkey Center/Longwood Medical Area

Hillary has been a senior oncology dietitian/nutritionist at Dana-Farber since 2006. Hillary also works as the director of nutrition for The Wellness Center at Boston IVF, where she provides nutrition counseling for women and men experiencing fertility challenges. In addition, Hillary has authored two books, "The Prediabetes Diet Plan" and "The PCOS Diet Plan," has co-authored "The Menopause Diet Plan," and manages an active nutrition consulting practice.
