Welcome to the Patient and Family Resource Centers at Dana-Farber. Our mission is to support patients and their families throughout their cancer treatment – and beyond. Our resource centers offer a range of programs, services, and educational materials designed for patients, caregivers, and family members.
For the safety and well-being of our patients, visitors, and staff, Dana-Farber requires all visitors to have a confirmed medical or clinical appointment to access resources at the Blum Center or the Center for Education and Support.
At this time, individuals without a same-day medical appointment will not be allowed entry into these Centers. Those with Dana-Farber appointments will be verified at check-in. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe environment for everyone.
Resources and Programs for Adult Patients
The Eleanor and Maxwell Blum Patient and Family Resource Center is located at our Longwood Medical area campus. In addition, we offer a Center for Education and Support at our Chestnut Hill location. In both of these spaces, we invite our adult patients and their families to enroll in no-cost programs and to get information on cancer types, treatments, nutrition, financial matters, and more. Many of these materials can also be accessed through our digital resource center.
Check out our Events and Programs Calendar for Adult Patients. Also, you may visit our YouTube playlist for recordings of previous events.

Resources and Programs for Pediatric Patients
The Betty Ann Blum and Marjorie Blum Pediatric Resource Room is located in our Jimmy Fund Clinic. Different programs are offered daily for children and their parents. Our goal is to be an enjoyable place for children to visit whenever they have a clinical appointment.
The Hale Center at Boston Children's Hospital is another resource designed for younger patients. Pediatric patients and their family members can find support, get information about assistance programs, and more.
